Two Shakti Pith Sobha Bhagwati and Indrayani Mata

 




Introduction

One of the famous Shaktipith temples  of Hindu Goddess Durga, Sobha Bhagwati Temple is a sacred pilgrimage site located on the banks of the Bishnumati River in Kathmandu, Nepal. This temple is located at a distance of two kilometers from Swambhunath Temple, which is listed in the World Heritage site .


According to Kimbdanti, this temple is believed to have been built in the 10th century of Kalik Sambat by Rani Navasagar along with the idol of the goddess. Likewise the Sobha Bhagwati Temple the king Sankar Dev had reconstructed on  B.S. in 664  It is mentioned in history  . Therefore, the temple of Sobha Bhagwati is Liksvi period. A large number of devotees visit this temple every year. Especially on the Navaratri of Dashain, there is a great fair.


Devotees offer animal sacrifices of different animals like goats, chickens, and pigeons. Goddess Sobha Bhagwati is considered as one of the powerful goddesses, Palanchok Bhagwati, Naxal Bhagwati and Sobha Bhagwati are considered as three sisters. The idols of these three famous goddesses are believed to have been created by the same artist. This temple is very beautiful and artistic.


Conclusion 

 After the  Earthquake erected  of 2072 B.S. , the temple  was damaged and reconstructed.  The various forms of Nava Durga Bhavani, Siddha Datri, Kalratri, Kushmanda, Skandamata, Katyani, Maha Gauri, Vaishnavi, indrayani,Varahi, Chamunda, Chandraghanta, Brahmacharani, Sail Putri etc. are kept 


Two martyrs statue, Nepalese revolutionary Shahid, Dashrath Chandra and Gangalal Shrestha  have been installed in this temple compound . On the same side, the great politician of Nepal, Ganeshman Singh, established a half-height statue. It is considered a strong pillar of our politicians. The bhajan team in the Sobha Bhagwati temple compound has been continuously singing the congregation by expressing their devotion to God through their songs, music and hymns.


Devotees consider the darshan of Indrayani Bhagwati near the Sobha Bhagwati temple to be complete after crossing the bridge built over the holy river Bishnumati.

Introduction 

Among the Shaktipith in the Kathmandu valley is Indrayani or Luti Azima, after crossing the bridge over the Bishnumati River from Sobha Bhagwati Temple,  Indrayani Temple is located. Indrayani Mandir or Luti Azima is the mother or grand mother of the deities whose great popularity comes from various famous kimvadanti. In which he believes that he can get rid of diarrhea and constipation.


Indrayani Temple or Luti Azima Temple In the ancient times, Liksvi king  Guna Kam Dev built the ancient city of Kathmandu in a new form and installed eight matriarchs in ​​the four corners to give protection from divine power. When the city of Kathmandu was built in Kalingata Sambat 38025, King Guna Kam Dev protected the country. 


Around the city, Lumdai Azima or Bhadrakali,, Kang Azima or Kankeshwari, Mahepi Azima or Dnyaneshwari, Maiti Azima or Maiti Devi, Takti Azima or Nil Barahi, Nitamaru Azima or Nar Devi, Vachala Azima, Luti Azima or Indrayani, are believed to have established and run Khadga Jatra.


About Indrayani Temple or Luti Ajima, there are many story . Vachli Mai is believed to be the mother of all. Vachli Mai called all the daughters home and fed them delicious food, but Indrayani was very poor and because she had many children, next day, she only called her to eat stale food . After Indrayani very angry and she decide to returned . 


On the way, Mother Indrayani picked up a Pumpkin , leaving the children on the road who were hungry,  her feel powerless Ain, Swachpu Ganesha, Tahiti, in the middle of Chhetrapati, left Bhudi Ganesha at Dhobi Chaur, and brought the very small, Jwala  and Machakhawa along with her. The, Sobha Bhagwati was left across the  Bishnumati River .


Similarly, the Pumpkin taken home, during cooking, the Pumpkin turned into gold and from that day on, Mother Indrayani also became known as Luti Azima, honored as rich  , Lu. it means in Nepali language, gold, 


Conclusion

So next year when Luti Azima was called on began to  Paha, when everyone calls, Luti Azima called to feed the gold, not me. Azima's Jatra is held separately, on the day of  Bala Chatudashi, on the day of gold ornament  fall . After that, she became famous as Luhti, meaning the goddess who wears gold ornaments.
